Dark Side

I almost always go for white, black, and grey interiors. Mostly white. Toss in some weathered wood and call it Scandinavian minimalism. If you must.

So what is it about the dark, cluttered, awkward spaces and fat pattern wallpaper on BBC's Sherlock?

As if I'm having a dirty little design affair with 221B Baker Street, the antithesis to my usual lust after bright and open.

And it's not just because I love the show.

Okay, maybe that's part of it.

Maybe it's the skulls. Particularly this one by John Pinkerton
