Yeah, Japan doesn't appear to be open to new or different recycling systems, at least not where I live where they're either turning a blind eye to the issue or simply don't have the funds to deal with it. It's been eye-opening in so many ways living over here – I need to be better about taking the bad with the good!annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12358660913480918263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6888761600937554304.post-70081325908991420022015-04-21T01:15:40.229+09:002015-04-21T01:15:40.229+09:00W.H.O.A. There just aren't adequate words to describe those rubbish piles (though when I first saw the slot machine, all I could think of was that scene in Office Space where they kicked the crap out of the copy machine.) ;) Hard to believe a country so advanced on the tech front is so lame on recycling and makes it so incredibly difficult. What's up with that?

Can't wait for the next installment. So looking forward to seeing the pretty side of Japan especially after seeing those beach scenes. You're right not to take the dogs anyway near there! P.S. Love the tag name (I hate you Japan). Miss you! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
